Each year, The Bonita Springs-Estero Association of REALTORS® (B.E.A.R.) conducts a Leadership Academy consisting of 12-15 members. The Academy holds 10 meetings between May and September. Most of the meetings are from 1:00pm–4:00pm.

Missions of the Leadership Academy
To foster personal growth through social and business interaction with people of exceptional qualities.
To provide the opportunity to meet, hear, and interact with political, business, and community leaders face to face and become aware of our world in Bonita Springs and Estero.
To become more aware of the operations of the Association and how each part contributes to the strength as a whole.
To asssit you in a self and a group evaluation of your skills as a leader. This will bring you to a higher level.

There is no charge to attend the B.E.A.R. Leadership Academy as the expense is paid by the authorization of the Officers and Board of Directors of B.E.A.R.
Expectations of Academy Students
Attend a minimum of 8 of the 10 sessions.
Attend the Florida REALTOR® Convention in August, one over night. The Convention registration and first night’s meal are paid for by B.E.A.R. Hotel and travel expenses are the student’s responsibility (group rate available).
Provide an application and a resume.
Sit for individual and group photgraphs (free).
Give an 8-10 minute speech on Graduation Day about “What My Leadership Experience Did For Me.”
Attend two B.E.A.R. Committee Meetings.
Attend a B.E.A.R. Board of Directors Meeting.
